Some birds, such as Robins, prefer an open-fronted nesting area. This Robin Nest Box is made from 15mm saw falling redwood for good insulation and protection for nesting birds. The body is treated in a larch colour and the roof in forest green. The treatment used is a non-toxic water-based stain, which also is also used for longevity. Johnston & Jeff have their own woodshop, in Yorkshire, where they make all of their wooden products, using only sustainably sourced timber.
