The natural diet of many birds includes insects. The protein they derive from dried mealworms is essential to maintain their bodies in fully working order. Dried calciworms contain around 50x more calcium than other insects or worms. This combo of dried mealworms and dried calciworms, is the perfect insect mix for our wild birds. Feed all year round – perfect in autumn and winter when the cold weather kills off most insect life. In Spring, try soaking them in warm water for 20-30 minutes, as this will make them softer for fledglings to eat.
